i'm not precious at ALL about my fic concepts. if you want to write the same basic concept as one of my fics (i.e. a rural age gap dilf fic, a canon compliant bodyswap fic, etc), but with your own original plot and words, go for it! there's no need to credit or notify me, though shout-outs are always appreciated.i also give blanket permission for you to write non-commercial sequels/prequels/interludes/remixes of my fics that are explicitly meant to build off that universe, though for those you must prominently credit and link to the original fic using the "this work was inspired by" option on ao3 or something similar. as long as you do not copy and paste sections of text from my fic or reword my scenes without attribution, i am totally cool with it and would love if you shared it with me.can i send you fic recs?
absolutely! fair warning you may never hear back whether i liked the fic or even ended up reading it, so as long as that's okay with you, send away! please include a direct link OR both the name of the fic AND the author's ao3 handle so i can find it!
Fic Recs
short disclaimer: all my fic recs are limited by my own taste; i have certain ships i like more than others (i read a lot of hobi pairings), and certain authors i like, and certain tropes i like, and my recs will be naturally skewed toward that. i'm not saying any of these fics are objectively better than others, just that i liked them! it's okay if you have different taste!i have an ongoing thread of fics i like on twitter, and if you want something more specific/curated, i may be able to give you a list on curious cat (though it could take some time/depend on my energy level)! my bookmarks on ao3 also function as recs(i am also working on archiving my cc answers into a tumblr so i can organize them, so in the future i should have a link here to rec lists i've already given in cc, hopefully!)you are welcome to rec me fics via curious cat, and i will put them on my marked for later, but there are no promises that i'll read them! you can also link me to fics you have written if you think i might enjoy them, but you need to be prepared for the possibility that you may never hear back from me on it!
